The Nightly News made history in 2006 as the first spotted saddlebred to ever win a ribbon in the 5-gaited Stallion Stake class at the Kentucky World Championship Horse Show.

His champion pedigree reads like a book of Who's Who . . . by Reserve World Champion El Cortez (by CH Chubasco) out of a champion show mare by The New York Times.

The Nightly News began his show career in 2002 as Champion 2 yr-old in-hand at the Texas Futurity. He has been in top ribbons on the tough Kentucky show circuit, taking home both blues and reserves including Champion at Paducah, KY Charity and Reserve Champion at Germantown Charity in 2006. And at the end of each class, "Bunny" (as in ever-ready) is just getting warmed up to go another round!

Bunny is the sweetest, most personable, and intelligent stallion ever put on this earth. It took 10 years of breeding efforts to get this incredible horse on the ground. Born with talent, he never needed show shoes to prove himself.

Today this big, bold and game 5-gaited stallion comes out of his stall looking for the show ring. . ."I'm ready, let's go!" And as he prances down the aisle, even the show mares turn their heads and give him that starry -eyed look!
